TRULLI RECONSTRUCTION in Puglia, Italy
This 10-day course in Puglia will offer students experience in stone restoration and exposure to the vernacular architecture of the Valle d'ltria area.
Become an integral teammate for a weekend of arch building and creation at Gardener's Supply, Intervale Center.
TIME: 9:00am–5:00pm
COST: $500 (includes lunch & snacks)

DETAILS: Three day intensive workshop at the Intervale Center in Burlington. Learn the art of building with natural stone and the principles behind it. In this workshop you will help build a series of foundational elements culminating in an arched garden sculpture. This course will take you beyond basic stone masonry and into the realm of stonework as an art form. Participants must be able to lift 40 lbs and handle the continuous demands of three full course days.*courtesy of Gardener's Supply
Alagoa das Flores: Building the Tiny Stone House
Reinventing Vernacular Architecture is going to build a tiny stone house using natural, sustainable and very local materials. "It´s going to be a challenge to do it, a challenge we look forward to."
